A refrigerator is provided to prevent formation of frosts attached onto an evaporator by increasing a rotational speed of a cooling fan when the times of door opening counted by a door counter exceeds a predetermined value. A refrigerator comprises a body unit, a door, a cooling fan(200), a door counter(500), and a control unit(600). The body unit has an internal space divided into a refrigerator compartment and a freezer compartment. The door closes the internal space of the refrigerator. The cooling fan driven by a fan motor(300), forcibly discharges cooled air to the freezer compartment. The door counter counts opening and closing times of the door. The control unit controls the circulation of cooled air provided to the refrigerator compartment and freezer compartment, and increases a rotational speed of the cooling fan by adjusting the fan motor according to accumulated door opening times counted by the door counter. |
