<p>A plasma display device and a driving method thereof. The plasma display device includes a first electrode, a power recovery capacitor charged with a first voltage, and a plurality of switches electrically connected between the first electrode and the power recovery capacitor. If the sensing voltage sensed by sensing the voltage of the power recovery capacitor is higher than a reference voltage, the driving voltage used to drive the plurality of switches is prevented (or stopped) from being applied to the plurality of switches, thereby preventing (or protecting) the element constituting the plasma display device from burning out.</p> |
