A method for obtaining of spongy titanium with magnesium-thermal reducing of titanium tetrachloride, which comprises the charging of liquid magnesium into a reactor with mimic plug, supply of titanium tetrachloride, carrying out of process of reducing titanium tetrachloride with periodic pouring of magnesium dichloride from reactor, vacuum separation of obtained spongy titanium and drawing of block of spongy titanium from reactor, in which reducing of titanium tetrachloride before use of 25-35 % of magnesium is carried out periodical with pouring of magnesium dichloride in quantity, which corresponds to stoichiometric one, and then periodical pouring of magnesium dichloride is carried out with its accumulation in the reactor, at that rate of supply of titanium tetrachloride into the reactor is gradually increasedafterthe first pouring of magnesium dichloride and gradually lowered in the end of reducing process. |
