ELECTORDE ASSEMBLY AND CYLINDER TYPE SECONDARY BATTERY USING THE SAME

An electrode assembly of a secondary battery is provided to maximize physical binding force between an electrode plate and an electrode tap placed at the outmost of the electrode assembly. An electrode assembly(100) of a secondary battery includes: an electrode plate roll formed by winding a negative electrode plate(114), a separator(116), and a positive electrode plate into a roll; a first electrode tap(120) which combines with one surface of the wound positive electrode plate placed at the center of the electrode plate roll; a second electrode tap(130) which combines with one surface of the wound negative electrode plate placed at the outmost of the electrode plate roll; and a sealing tape(140) which is attached to cover the outmost of the electrode plate roll and supports a joint of the second electrode tap to the negative electrode plate.
