<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an image forming apparatus capable of rapidly performing density correction processing and performing appropriate printing for all the jobs stored in an image memory. <P>SOLUTION: When a density correction performing condition is satisfied in the midst of printing for a certain job (job A), the density correction processing in a simple mode is performed after printing for the job A when printing waiting jobs (jobs B and C) stored in the image memory exist at such a time.
