<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing a DNA structure useful as a nano material and a nano device. <P>SOLUTION: The method comprises the step of forming 4<SP>n</SP>pieces of basic oligonucleotide sequences consisting of n bases and herein n is a positive integer, the step of preliminary selecting a basic oligonucleotide sequence from 4<SP>n</SP>pieces of the basic oligonucleotide sequences consisting of n bases, the step of forming a pair of segment oligonucleotide sequences consisting of an integral multiple of a n pieces of bases which are used for preparing a desirable DNA structure by combination of the preliminary selected basic oligonucleotide sequences consisting of n bases, the step of synthesizing a pair of segment oligonucleotides consisting of the integral multiple of n pieces of bases based on a pair of the prepared segment oligonucleotide sequences consisting of the integral multiple of n pieces of bases, and the step of constituting a higher-order DNA by mixing a pair of the synthesized segment oligonucleotides consisting of the integral multiple of n pieces of bases. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
