A wind power installation has a hollow hub on which radial blades are installed, with openings in cone-like form, those are connected to cavity of the hub, energy transformer as air turbine installed in the cavity pf the hug. The blades are placed in such way that direction of rotation of those with respect to vertical axis of the wind wheel coincides with direction of air flow. In the cavity of the hub electric generator is placed, its rotor is installed on the shaft of working wheel of turbine in cantilever fashion. |
