Fuel filter

Fuel filter comprises a removal channel (5) for removing purified fuel connected via a valve (8) to a clean chamber lying upstream of the valve. The valve is opened and closed using an annular filter element (3). The valve state in the open or closed position is determined by the presence or absence of the annular filter element as a valve actuating element. Preferred Features: The valve is formed as two concentric tubular sections with overlapping radial openings. The valve has a valve closure spring (12) acting on the tubular sections.
