DEFECT PROCESSING APPARATUS IN OPTICAL DISC DEVICE

A defect processing apparatus in an optical disk device is provided to reset high frequency output values in a focus/tracking main filler part into 0 or a predetermined offset value in order to remove peaking and adjust tracking or focus accurately. A defect processing apparatus(300) comprises a defect sensing part(301), and a main filter part(310). The defect sensing part discriminates whether a disk has a defect and outputs a reset signal to the main filter part. The main filter part receives a focus error signal or a tracking error signal and outputs a focus control signal or a tracking control signal. The reset signal resets signal values of the high frequency components into 0. The main filter part includes a high frequency gain filter(312), a low frequency gain filter(314), and an adder.
