The shoe has a rod with an inner quarter (16) and an outer quarter (18) comprising asymmetrical construction with respect to a median longitudinal plane so that the quarter (16) forms a flap (40) which transversally extends towards a side above the plane, where quarters are connected by a veil. A stiffening plate (46) extends over the height of the quarters from a lower side of connection at a sole (12) till an upper side which delimits a slit. An elastic band has rear transversal stitchings situated near a rear edge of the quarter which covers an instep girth.
