A method of chemical dissolution of phosphogypsum consists in its sequential treatment with gaseous carbonic acid dioxide in the flow of ammonium-phosphogypsum suspension, which moves through the circulation loop. The supply of ammonium-phosphogypsum suspension and its motion in the circulation loop occurs due to the creation of large-scale flow fluctuations of suspension by peristaltic and vibration pumps.
