A water supply method of a frontloading washing machine is provided to prevent excessive water supply into a drum by regulating water supply amount in accordance with water pressure. A water supply method of a frontloading washing machine comprises the steps of: counting time after supplying water and judging whether water level reaches the initial water level(S20); computing water level increasing speed using the time taken to reach the initial water level(S30); re-setting water level sensing time corresponding to the water level increasing speed(S40); and supplying water when the water level sensing time comes, counting the time, and repeatedly sensing water level every water sensing time till the water level reaches a set water level(S70). |
