The device has a processing circuit (7) for receiving a signal (ID) representing differential current. The processing circuit has inputs (14, 16) for selecting time-current tripping characteristics. An actuator (21) opens main contacts (4) of the device based on the selection of the characteristics. Test units are associated to the inputs for selecting a minimum or reduced operating caliber and minimum or reduced delay when the test units are activated. The test units are formed by a secondary winding (31), push button, test circuit (33), transistors (35, 36) and resistors (37, 38). |
