The invention relates to the field of electric arc hard-facing and can be used at production and reinforcing of the components of rolling equipment in ferrous metallurgy and heavy machine building. In a method of electric arc hard-facing by U-shaped tape electrode with straight portions alloying of weld metal is carried out by alloying elements, which will are fed between the edges in the region of internal part of the tape. The length of straight portions is set in the dependence on the width of U-shaped belt in accordance with the expression: L= (2.25-2.5) in, mm, where B - width of U-shaped belt; L - length of the straight portions of U-shaped tape, mm. Thus high quality shaping of weld metal, increase of fracture strength, wear resistance and fitness for work of deposited components are ensured. |
