A system for controlling a nuclear reactor rod control mechanism is provided to transmit proper current values to coils even in case that a heat difference is between the coil by separately controlling the coils. A system for controlling a nuclear reactor rod control mechanism includes power modules(14). The power modules are connected to corresponding coils in series. Each power module includes a converter(10). A control cabinet includes twelve coils of a sub-group and twelve individual power modules. The twelve coils include four fixation type gripper coil, four movable gripper coils, and four lift coils.
