A nonmagnetic electrophotographic developer, and an electrophotographic imaging apparatus using the developer are provided to improve durability, image gloss and fixation. A nonmagnetic electrophotographic developer comprises a toner particle which comprises a binder resin, a releasing agent, a colorant and a charge control agent; and an external additive which is added to the surface of the toner particle, wherein the binder resin comprises a high viscosity polyester resin having a weight average molecular weight of 90,000-140,000 and a gel content less than 5% and a low viscosity polyester resin having a weight average molecular weight of 52,000-65,000 and a gel content less than 2%.
