An apparatus and a method for easily controlling gas turbine fuel are provided to increase a system response excluding pressure disturbance and a disturbance exclusion bandwidth of a fuel control valve response. A control system comprises a component model(114), a pressure sensor(108), and a proportional integral controller integrated with a gas supply pressure feed forward. The component model adjusts pressure of fuel supplied to a gas turbine(14). The pressure sensor detects the pressure of the fuel supplied to the gas turbine. The proportional integral controller increases a system response excluding pressure disturbance and a disturbance exclusion bandwidth of a response of a fuel control valve(104) by providing a reference signal to the component model. The gas supply pressure feed forward supplies a signal(132) representing a predetermined pressure value to a control system.
