A slide module and a portable terminal having the slide module are provided to have elastic power supply units which offer elastic power, so that the first body can be automatically slid when the first body is relatively slid up and down on the second body. The first rotative bar(50) is hinge-coupled with the first slide member. The second rotative bar(52) is hinge-coupled with the second slide member. A connection bar(54) is rotatively connected between the first rotative bar and the second rotative bar. Elastic members(56,58) are connected between the first rotative bar and the connection bar and/or between the second rotative bar and the connection bar, and generate elastic power in a direction that a distance between the first and second rotative bars is far away.
