A retreating apparatus for wastes in high efficiency is provided to eliminate harmful substance of exhaust gas with low cost by discharging together re-used gas and the steam generated from a drying unit. A retreating apparatus for wastes in high efficiency comprises a prior treating unit(100), a drying unit(200), a carbonizing unit(300), a carbonized gas heating unit(400), a dry gas heating unit(500), and a gas purification unit(600). The carbonizing unit is connected to the drying unit and the carbonized gas heating unit, and has a cylindrical rotary kiln, a screw shaft, and a water jacket. The carbonizing unit carbonizes dry wastes using carbonized gas. The carbonized gas heating unit is connected to the carbonizing unit, and has a carbonized gas heating chamber, a water jacket, and a plurality of carbonizing auxiliary burners. The carbonized gas heating unit heats carbonized gas, and supplies the heat carbonized gas to the carbonizing unit. The dry gas heating unit is connected to the carbonizing unit and the drying unit, and has a dry gas heating chamber, a water jacket, and a plurality of dry gas heating burners. The dry gas heating unit receives carbonized gas from the carbonizing unit and supplies the gas to the drying unit after re-heating the carbonized gas. The gas purification unit eliminates harmful material from the dry gas and carbonized gas, and lowers temperature.
