The machine i.e. rotary head windrower (1), has a rotary rake head (3) with a rotatably actuated tooth carrying arm (9) on which a rake tooth (10) is fixed. The arm includes two arm parts i.e. inner arm part and outer arm part, slidable with respect to each other. The arm parts are designed so as to be folded together from a work position to a transport position in which the arm has a length lesser than that in the work position. A locking unit for locking the outer and inner arm parts is driven in rotation around longitudinal axis, where the head is fixed on the outer rim part. |
