<p>An air conditioning system and a control method thereof are provided to reduce noise generation and to achieve smooth operation response performance by controlling standby times of refrigerant control valves of each pipe adaptively according to installation environment. An air conditioning system(100) includes a first refrigerant pipe positioned mounted between a compressor(110) and an indoor heat exchanger(130), a second refrigerant pipe(20) positioned between the indoor heat exchanger and an outdoor heat exchanger(120), a refrigerant control valve(30) mounted in the first refrigerant pipe for blocking the flow of refrigerant in the first refrigerant pipe alternatively, and a controller. The controller carries out test running by opening the refrigerant control valve and driving and stopping the compressor and the indoor heat exchanger in sequence, and controls the refrigerant control valve for blocking the refrigerant flow in the first refrigerant pipe for a time period, during the period noise being within a permissible range.</p> |
