摘要 An automatic engine torque conversion device according to work load of construction equipment is provided to prevent the unnecessary consumption of fuel by automatically selecting the engine torque property to output sufficient torque if high torque is needed and restraining excessive torque if low torque is needed. Construction equipment is composed of: an engine controller(3) controlling the whole driving operations of an engine(2); a torque conversion selection switch(1) manually converting torque of the engine by a worker; and an equipment controller(4) controlling driving of various electric parts installed in the construction equipment. In an automatic engine torque conversion device according to work load of the construction equipment, CAN(Controller Area Network,5) is installed between the engine controller and the equipment controller. Information about the consumption amount of fuel and more than two torque property control programs are additionally input to the equipment controller. The equipment controller calculates a load factor by receiving the fuel consumption amount of the engine output from the engine controller through the CAN, at the regular intervals of time and selects the engine torque property matching to the correspondent work load by comparing the calculated load factor with a reference load factor. And then, the equipment controller transmits a control signal corresponding to the engine torque property, to the engine controller and makes the engine controller control the fuel injection amount of the engine and the injection timing of fuel corresponding to the torque property selected in the equipment controller.
