METHOD FOR SETTING IDENTIFICATION BY REMOTE CONTROLL FOR CONTROLLER DEVICE OF HOME AUTOMATION SYSTEM

A method for setting a remote control ID for a controlled device in a home automation system is provided to prevent ID setting errors in advance by simply selecting a physical target device after selecting a control icon, without any special hardware manipulation to establish the IDs of remotely controlled devices. A user inputs an ID setup registration signal through a UI(User Interface)(S10). The user selects a control icon corresponding to a target device(S20). As the user manually operates the target device(S30), the existing ID information of the target device is inputted to a wall pad(S40). The wall pad matches the existing ID information with the control icon and creates a new ID(S50). The wall pad transmits the new ID information to the target device and changes the ID information of the target device(S60). The wall pad confirms and stores the changed ID information(S70).
