A display apparatus and an information processing apparatus are provided to connect signal lines to a side of the display apparatus through a vacant space, thereby reducing the width of the display apparatus. A display panel unit has a panel body(210) having a display surface for displaying information. A control circuit for controlling the display at the display surface is mounted to a control substrate(220). The control substrate is arrayed at the back side related to the display surface of the panel body and has the narrow width(W2) compared to the width(W1) of the panel body. A housing receives the display panel unit. An antenna(400) is assembled within the housing and performs the communication. A signal line is connected with the antenna and transmits the signal including information to be communicated by the antenna. The signal line is extended along the back side of the panel body by avoiding the control substrate within the housing. A step is formed at a side of the control substrate and the signal line extended from the antenna is connected until a line cover(140) through the step.
