摘要 A method for manufacturing a keypad for a portable appliance is provided to allow a button unit to project by heating and pressing the keypad between an upper mod and a lower mold for a predetermined time. A method for manufacturing a keypad for a portable appliance includes the steps of: forming the keypad which is made of a plastic film and has a plurality of button units(P10); forming a light emitting layer through integral fusion by applying a binder to a rear surface of the plastic film of the keypad and bonding an EL material to the rear surface of the plastic film(P20); and forming a contact protrusion to allow a signal to be inputted into a printed circuit board by pushing the button units to press a dome switch(P30), wherein in the key pad forming step, a print layer is formed on the rear surface of the plastic film, a button forming line is engraved, display units are engraved, the plastic film is tightly contact between an upper mold and a lower mold, and portions where the button units are formed projects to a front surface by a portion of a front surface of the plastic film excluding the button unit forming portions, and wherein in the contact protrusion forming step, the contact protrusion is formed by fusing rubber with portions corresponding to the button units of the light emitting layer.
