A mothproof material is provided to show a use completion point distinctly and excellent handling safety without influencing on volatilization of a mothproof mixture by ventilation and identify the color change of the mothproof material easily by naked eyes easily without influencing on human body and clothing. A mothproof material comprises: a spherical porous impregnating agent where a coloring agent consisting of 50-90 wt.% of water, 5-30 wt.% of a coloring agent and 5-40 wt.% of an adhesive and a mothproof mixture consisting of 5-25 wt.% of a mothproof agent original solution, 1-10 wt.% of an anti-oxidant or an antiseptic, 0.001-2 wt.% of an emetic, and 63-93.999 wt.% of a volatilization controlling agent are impregnated; and a permeable transparent film covering the outer circumference of the impregnating agent. A method for preparing the mothproof material comprises the steps of: (a) compression-processing a natural pulp to prepare the spherical porous impregnating agent; (b) preparing the coloring agent; (c) preparing the mothproof mixture; (d) impregnating the impregnating agent with the coloring agent and the mothproof material; and (e) covering the outer circumference of the impregnating agent with the permeable transparent film. Further, the coloring agent is one of titanium oxide, zeolite, silica, lime, white carbon, clay and calcium carbonate. |
