A rotary vane compressor is provided to reduce friction loss or abrasion due to the friction between a cylinder and a cover by restraining the axial movement of the cylinder, and to prevent the leakage of air via a gap generated by the abrasion. A rotary vane compressor includes a sealing ball bearing(7) supporting a cylinder(5) and inserted into bearing mounting parts(5a,1a) formed the cylinder and a housing(1), a stopper screw(8) mounted to the housing for fixing the ball bearing, and a taper bearing(10) supporting an eccentric shaft(2). |
