A method for connecting focus variation of a light scribe disk is provided to control focus servo operation by measuring a focus variation value when printing on the label surface of a write scribe disk and calculating a compensation value for correcting the measured focus variation value in order to prevent track thickness of the label printing from differing. A method for connecting focus variation of a light scribe disk comprises the steps of: carrying out fine actuator calibration operation when starting label printing(S10); measuring a focus variation value in a microprocessor(S11); calculating a tracking position in the microprocessor(S12); calculating a focus position and a focus compensation value(S14); calculating a focus control value, controlling focus servo operation, and carrying out writing operation proper to tracking and focus(S15); and finishing printing operation when detecting a final track in the microprocessor(S16).
