A multi-functional USB(Universe Serial Bus) pen is provided to improve convenience of users and to reduce the cost by uniting the functions of a USB memory, a laser pointer, and a writing instrument. In a multi-functional USB pen, a body comprises lower and upper pen-handles(1,2). A writing instrument(5) is installed in the lower pen-handle. A USB memory driver(7) communicates with a USB host and transmits data to the USB host or stores data sent from the USB host. A laser pointer unit is installed in the upper pen-handle to generate a laser beam. In the laser pointer unit, a power unit is mounted in the upper pen-handle of the body to receive power from the USB host. Laser beam generating units generate a laser beam on the basis of power sent from the power unit. A lens(30) is formed at one end of the upper pen-handle to convert the laser beam generated by the laser beam generating unit, into the parallel light and emit the parallel light to the outside. A switch(40) turns on/off the laser beam generating unit.
