A barcode device recharged by a mobile terminal recharger is provided to enable a user to recharge the barcode device easily and conveniently without using a dedicated recharger or buying an adaptor by recharging the barcode device with the mobile terminal recharger. A barcode unit(120) recognizes and reads a barcode optically. A NAND flash memory(180) stores barcode data corresponding to the recognized barcode. A power unit(170) recharges an internal battery by receiving external power received from a mobile terminal recharger through a connector such as a 24-pin connector(160), and generates internal voltage to be supplied to the barcode unit and the NAND flash memory. A CPU(110) controls the barcode unit, the NAND flash memory, and the power supply unit. The power supply unit includes the internal battery, an internal voltage generator generating the internal voltage in responding to a control signal of the CPU by receiving the external power or the power of the internal battery, and a switch for providing the power of the internal battery to the internal voltage generator. A serial communication module(150) which supports the serial communication of RS232 or RS232C transmits barcode data, which are received from the CPU, to a host, which is connected to the connector, through the 24-pin connector. |
