摘要 A method and an apparatus for manufacturing pig iron and crude zinc oxide from material comprising iron oxide and zinc oxide are provided to maximize energy efficiency, manufacture pig iron even with injection of low energy, obtain a crude zinc oxide product used in various industrial fields and slag used as an aggregate raw material, and prevent environmental pollution and seek excellent economic efficiency by using steelmaking dust, steelmaking slag and mill scale as raw materials and using waste synthetic resin as fuel. An apparatus for manufacturing pig iron and crude zinc oxide from material comprising iron oxide and zinc oxide comprises a raw material storage tank(10), a recarburizer storage tank(20), a binder storage tank(30), a mixer(40), a pelletizer(50), a pellet storage tank(60), a reduction furnace(100), a coke storage tank(200), a refuse-derived fuel storage tank(210), a melting furnace(300), a cooling tower(410), a bag filter(420), a purification tower(450), and a plurality of transfer conveyors(500). The apparatus further comprises a reductive gas injection pipe(120) which is connected to the melting furnace, and through which reductive gas generated in the melting furnace is supplied into the reduction furnace. The reduction furnace has an outlet(110) formed in one side thereof to discharge reduced iron through the outlet. The apparatus further comprises: a zinc vapor exhaust pipe(400) formed on an inner part of the reduction furnace and connected to the bag filter; a waste gas exhaust pipe(430) connected to an upper part of the bag filter; and a waste gas combustion tower(440) installed in the middle of the waste gas exhaust pipe. The purification tower has an impurity discharge port formed thereon to discharge impurities separated from crude zinc oxide, and an outlet(452) formed thereon to discharge impurity-filtered crude zinc oxide. The melting furnace has an injection port and a funnel-shaped injection device formed on a top part thereof, and a blowing port, a pig iron discharge port(330), and a slag discharge port(320) respectively formed on a lower side face thereof.
