A supporting device for an optical outdoor wire is provided to support the optical outdoor wire in a straight form by a damage preventing plate functioning as a leaf spring and to prevent damage of an optical fiber by excluding excessive pressurizing force. In a supporting device for an optical outdoor wire, an optical outdoor wire support holder(10) has an uneven part(12) formed on the upper part of a base plate(11) and press projections(14) formed at the upper end of support plates(13) obliquely installed at both sides of the base plate. A damage preventing plate(20) is inserted into the optical outdoor wire support holder and placed on the base plate. The damage preventing plate has plural insertion projections protruded at the bottom side and fitted and supported to recessed portions of the uneven part. A pressure guide(30) is inserted into the support holder. Guide plates(31) obliquely formed at both sides are guided by the press projections and slid in order to press and support the optical outdoor wire to the damage preventing plate.
