The platform has delivery sites with identification terminals (13) non-removably fixed immediately near the delivery sites and connected to a delivery management system, where the terminals permit access to digital data representing article control for a client, whose vehicle is stationed on the sites. The system has stored digital data, of a site reference, identifying the terminal and the corresponding site. The system detects access to the data on the terminal, and associates the site reference of the terminal with the article control corresponding to the accessed data. An independent claim is also included for a method for delivering articles to clients utilizing a vehicle.
