A latch release device is provided to improve operation convenience by preventing a switching device from being abnormally operated without increasing a spring constant of a return spring provided in the switching device. A latch release device comprises a switching device(10) and a base member(20). The switching device includes a switch body(11) and a push button section(12) and is turned on to release a latch state of a door when the push button section is pressed. The base member includes a base body(210) and a cap member(220). The base body has a concave section for receiving the switching device. The cap member is detachably coupled with the rear portion of the base body. A key top member(30) is installed on the surface of the base body to cover the push button section of the switching device.
