<p>An operation method of an air conditioner is provided to reduce the deviation in the performance of indoor units by making the distribution of refrigerant smooth in order to improve the reliability of the air conditioner, by controlling expansion valves for controlling opening degrees of refrigerant paths by the control of target overheating degrees for the indoor units. An operation method of an air conditioner includes the steps of setting target overheating degrees for a plurality of evaporators(S10), and determining the opening degrees of each expansion valve per the evaporator(S30). When at least any one of the expansion valves is opened by the maximum opening degree(S50), the target overheating degree is compared with a current overheating degree of the evaporator corresponding to the expansion valve of which opening degree is maximum(S70). When the current overheating degree is higher than the target one, the target overheating degrees for the evaporators are corrected by increasing them by predetermined temperature(S90).</p> |
