<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-optical apparatus of both-surface display type, which has less of interference stripe effect and provide an electronic device provided with the electro-optical apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The electro-optical apparatus is provided with a light source, a light guide plate, a first display panel and a second display panel. The light guide plate has on its end portion an inclined portion having increased thicknesses gradually toward the light source, and on a surface side of the light guide plate with the inclined portion there is arranged the second display panel and on a surface side of the light guide plate without the inclined portion there is arranged the first display panel, and moreover a position of an end portion of a display region of the second display panel is nearer to the light source than a position of an end portion of a display region of the first display panel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
