<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump type water heater capable of supplying fresh hot water while keeping high operation efficiency of a heat pump cycle. <P>SOLUTION: This heat pump type water heater X comprising the heat pump cycle 10 having a water heat exchanger 12 exchanging heat between a refrigerant circulated in a refrigerant pipe 101 and the water circulated in a water pipe 102, and a hot water storage tank 21 for storing the hot water in the water pipe 102 after heated by the water heat exchanger 12, comprises a direct hot water supply passage 22 for heating the water by heat exchange between the water supplied from a water supply port 24 and the hot water in the hot water storage tank 21 in a hot water supply pipe 221 disposed in the hot water storage tank 21, and supplying the hot water from a hot water supply port 25. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
