PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve user's convenience as compared with a conventional image forming apparatus while rigidly limiting the use of the image forming apparatus.

SOLUTION: A usable amount which is the use amount of an image forming apparatus, which is permitted to a group to which a plurality of users belong, is previously stored in an intermediate authentication server 2. When a user gives an image processing command to the image forming apparatus 1A (#112), the use amount of the image forming apparatus 1 which corresponds to the processing quantity of the image processing is found out (#113), the usable amount of the group of the user, which corresponds to the use amount, is allocated from the intermediate authentication server 2 to the image forming apparatus 1 (#210, #115).
