PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make information registered by a user included in a retrieval object, in a navigation system, and to select the propriety of disclosing the registering information to a general user. SOLUTION: This personal digital assistant 1 of the present invention is provided with an input part 10 for inputting user information related to a map data, a storage part 13 for storing the input user information as user registration information, and a communication part 17 for transmitting the user registration information as differential information for updating the map data to the navigation system 3 or a map distribution server 2. The user registration information is transmitted from the communication part directly to the navigation system, when not disclosed, and is transmitted to the plurality of navigation systems via the map distribution server, when disclosed.
