<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of suppressing display defects, and a manufacturing method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The display device according to the present invention has a TFT array substrate 100. The display device has a lower capacity electrode 24a provided to the TFT array substrate 100, a first inter-layer insulating film 25 formed on the lower capacity electrode 24a, and an upper capacity electrode 26a formed on the lower-capacity electrode 24a with the first inter-layer insulating film 25 interposed. Further, the display device has a second inter-layer insulating film 27 which is formed on the upper capacity electrode 26a and has a plurality of contact holes 31 for the upper capacity electrode 26a at one pixel, and a pixel electrode 32 which is formed on the second inter-layer insulating film 27 and connected to the upper capacity electrode 26a through the contact holes 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
