PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow everybody to easily carry out shape designing, which is conventionally carried out by a designer based on his/her experience, of a conveying passage. SOLUTION: A locus of a sheet-shaped flexible medium such as paper is defined by an optional shape including a straight line and a circular arc in a medium locus setting process S11. In the following initial guide creation process S12, an initial guide is created by generating parallel lines in the upper and lower sides of the locus of the flexible medium, and in a locus section division process S13, the locus is equally divided by defined intervals. In a guide width changing process S14, the guide width on the upstream/downstream side of one of the divided sections so that the guide shape allows passage of the flexible medium.
