PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device capable of reducing power consumption and shortening the first time by making the heat capacity of the whole of a pressure roller lower, without using a rubber material having a low heat capacity, such as a balloon and a sponge, for the elastic layer of a fixing roller. SOLUTION: The metal core of the pressure roller has a two-layer structure comprising a metallic layer and a porous ceramic layer.
