PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of parts of a rotation angle detection apparatus, reduce error factors of output signals of a detection circuit, simplify a logic circuit and an amplifying circuit, and lower the costs of the rotation angle detection apparatus. SOLUTION: The rotation angle detection apparatus is provided with an angle detecting means having both detection circuits including a detection element part comprising both a coil and a resistor and an inductance changing means for changing the inductance of the coil according to the rotation of a rotator to be measured; a reference pulse voltage generating means for generating output signals in the detection circuits; and a computing means for computing output signals of the detection circuits. The computing means integrates, for a prescribed time, transient-phenomenon output voltages generated when a reference pulse voltage generated by the reference pulse voltage generating means is inputted to the detection circuits to determine an integration value and detects a rotational angle of the rotator to be measured on the basis of the integration value.
