PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a probing adapter composed to effectively prevent damage to a measuring unit due to excessive voltage or the like in the compact probing adapter applied to a scene for measuring an electric lamp wire as an object to be measured, and to provide a probe device using it. SOLUTION: The probe device comprises a probe 3 for taking out a measuring signal from the electric lamp wire 1, and the probing adapter 4 connected to the measuring unit 2. The probing adapter 4 has: a signal extraction circuit 10 for passing a signal of a higher frequency band than it by preventing a frequency of a power source frequency band or lower; a filter circuit 20 for passing only a desired frequency band; and a balance/unbalance conversion circuit 30 for regarding the output of the filter circuit as balance input. Furthermore, the adapter 4 includes a first protection element 7, a second protection 8 and a third protection element 9 on a suitable place in the adapter 4. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
