PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple dynamic cone penetration testing machine advantageous from a view to eliminate an irregularity in measuring result while reducing the load of a worker. SOLUTION: The simple dynamic cone penetration testing machine 10 is constituted of a frame 12, a guide rod 16, a cone 18, a knocking block 20, a drive hammer 22, a drive hammer moving means 24, a locking and unlocking means 26, a moving quantity detector 44 and a hammering number-of-time detector 46. The drive hammer moving means 24 supports the drive hammer 22 ready to lift and fall. The moving quantity detector 44 detects the moving quantity in the longitudinal direction of the guide rod 16 with respect to the frame 12, that is, detects the penetration quantity of the cone 18 pushed in the ground to output a detection signal.
