PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a seat back of a front seat from being inclined forward in such a state that a seated person is seated on a front seat even if the seated person on a rear seat operates an operating means. SOLUTION: The vehicle seat is provided with: a back surface side operating lever 22 which changes the attitude of the seat back 12 to be set to an upright attitude S1 by unlocking a locking mechanism 132 through the operation from the back surface side of the seat back 12 toward an inclined attitude S2 by an energizing force of a torsion spring 134; and an operation disabling means 25 for disabling the operation of the back surface side operating lever 22 in such a state that a seated person is seated on a seat cushion 11.
