PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose an inflator 1 for automobile tires realizing determination that an air chuck 4a has been mounted to a tire 3 even when the target pressure is the same as air pressure of the tire 3. SOLUTION: The inflator 1 for automobile tires of the present invention is equipped with a control means 9 for determining that the air chuck 4a has been mounted to an air charging port 3a of the tire 3 by detecting subtle reduction of the pressure caused by an air feeding hose 4 being in an air-opening status for a moment when the air chuck 4a is mounted to the air charging port 3a after the air pressure of the air feeding hose 4 is kept constant.
