PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure compatibility between shock prevention and good operability in an instrument panel for a vehicle which has a rear facing surface for directing an approximately vehicle rear side and an inclined surface downward inclined from the lower end of the rear facing surface to the rear side, and which is provided with an operating unit having the operating knob projecting to an occupant side. SOLUTION: The operating knob 42 is disposed in the vicinity of a boundary part X between a central decorative panel 21 (rear facing surface) and a lower decorative panel 22 (inclined surface).
