PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fibrous filter which can remove virus in water, and is high in filtering accuracy. SOLUTION: In this filter, a filter layer comprises fibers of fiber diameters of 1-500 nm, and has a value showing the maximum frequency in the pore size distribution of 10 nm-2μm.
