[PROBLEMS] A seat device for aircraft, large-sized buses, movie theaters, and theaters, allowing a person (50) sitting thereon to stretch the legs straight without requiring the person to perform troublesome operation such as rotation or extension/retraction of a foot rest, allowing spaces under and in front of a seat cushion (21, 22, 23, 31, 32, 41, 42) to be used as spaces for receiving small articles, and facilitating cleaning of a floor surface (15). [MEANS FOR SOLVING THE PROBLEMS] A person (50) sitting on a left seat cushion (31) of a rear seat of a seat device (30) stretches either of the left and right legs (51, 52) straight and inserts it from a rear end opening (34a) into an intermediate arm rest (34) of a front seat. A person (50) sitting on a right seat cushion (32) of the rear seat stretches either of the left and right legs (51, 52) straight and inserts it into a right end arm rest (35) of the front seat. |
